Today’s modern police cruisers are subjected to the rigors of the harsh day-to-day enforcement duties. It takes more than just a big engine, “cop tires and cop suspension” to get the job done. Last September, the 2011 Dodge Charger PPV (that’s “Police Pursuit Vehicle” for you civilians) was put through a battery of tests at the annual Michigan State Police Vehicle trials. Even though there was stiff competition, the 2011 Charger PPV still had the performance and handling (along with menacing looks) that would make Jake and Elwood proud!
